I'm not sure whether I should feel more angry about the result of this game, or whether I should feel happier about the team's performance. If someone had told me before the game that we could play a game like this at San Siro, I would have accepted it immediately. In the first half, both sides performed quite well, but in the second half, we showed fighting spirit and courage. The game was once under our control. This point was valuable and injected great confidence into the team.

Our tactical choices were very effective. Even after adding an extra midfielder, the players were able to execute my deployment well. We have to stay positive and keep training hard – that’s the only ‘good medicine’ I know.

About Pisa's prospects this season

When facing opponents like Verona or Udinese, we must further improve our possession of the ball. Breaking down a tight defense isn't easy, but this team still has room to grow. We've been able to play meaningful games against strong teams - now we have to turn those good performances into real points. We know our direction. Every game must be fought for points. We were in control of the game tonight, but don't forget, we were playing against the team at the top of the league. We must keep our morale high.
