Manchester United locker room undercurrent: Amorin reshapes the leader s team, salary structure is exposed and the sky-high weekly salary is no longer

As Manchester United's longest active player, Luke Shaw has been very depressed recently - he was excluded from the six-man leader group in the new season by Ruben Amorin.

Currently, this leadership team is led by captain Bruno Fernandez, and also includes Harry Maguire, Nussel Mazravie, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot and substitute goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

Xiao was angry at his neglect, and Amorin hoped that this "lost" could be transformed into motivation at the beginning of the season. However, this seems to have affected his form in training – the left back doesn’t seem to be giving his all on the court.

What's worse is that 19-year-old central defender Lenny Yoro almost squeezed into the six-man group. Although Amorin finally decided not to let Yoro be included for the time being, he believes that the French young player will become the pillar of the future defense and even have the potential to become a club legend.

Shaw is the most experienced player at the Carrington base, almost accompanying the entire Manchester United era after Sir Ferguson left office. He has two years left with the club's £180,000 weekly contract. He was once regarded as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, but now he has exposed obvious shortcomings in defense and position sense.

Salary structure adjustment

Amorin's Manchester United is undergoing a cultural transformation. Gone are the days when Alexis Sanchez's £500,000 sky-high weekly salary.

This summer, Manchester United plans to sign Benjamin Sesco from RB Leipzig for £74 million, which will be the fourth signing. But unlike in the past, new players' salaries are no more than £200,000 per week.

Mattus Cunha: Joined from Wolves with a weekly salary of about 180,000 pounds

Brian Mbumo: Joined from Brentford with a weekly salary of about 150,000 pounds

Leon: 18-year-old youth training development player, salary far lower than maximum-paid players such as Casemiro and Bruno, Cesco: The estimated salary is at the same level as Cunha and Mbumo

When Sanchez joined Manchester United from Arsenal, he appeared as a piano and got a luxury contract, but his 18-month downturn became a case of failure to pay high salaries. Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea and Marcus Rashford, etc., are not in Amorin's starting plan this season. Manchester United finally seems to have learned from past mistakes.

"New Nuno Mendez"?

Amorin is very optimistic about left-wing guard Patrick Dorgu and even believes that he has the potential to become "Nuo Mendes 2.0".

Insiders revealed that Amorin "loved" the Danish young player very much and carefully trained him in the full pre-season training camp this summer. Doorgu had a bad adaptation at the beginning of last season but showed potential in chaos.

In the Premier League series on the preseason tour, he played a key role in the wing road in all three games and contributed goals and assists against Bournemouth. Although it is a bit exaggerated to compare him to Paris Saint-Germain's world-class left-back Nuno Mendes, it is enough to show Amorin's high praise.

Dorgu joined Lecce for £30 million in January and will now become an important member of the team, which means it will be difficult for Xiao to regain his position. He also has to work hard to be selected for the England team coached by Thomas Tuchel and compete in the 2026 World Cup.

Transfers that fans want & Fundraising Interesting

Manchester United fans are still eager for more signings this summer, especially Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba. Amorin admires the Cameroonian midfielder, but it is almost impossible to spend more than £100 million in the current transfer window.

A fan named "Ian M" even launched a crowdfunding, hoping to help Jim Ratcliff raise transfer fees. As of Friday afternoon, the fundraising amount was £254 - a long way from the goal.

Youth training star attracted attention

At the Mladen Ramliak Cup held in Croatia, Manchester United's U19 team attracted the attention of scouts from China and Europe.

15-year-old Kay Rooney and 14-year-old JJ Gabriel compete with older players. But in the first game, the best performance was 17-year-old midfielder Amir Ibrahimov - who calmly scored the winning penalty.

scouts called him "the most noteworthy player of this tournament", which was highly praised when Benfica, Juventus and Dynamo Zagreb's strong youth training teams were in the same game.

Ibrajimov controls the midfield on the court and constantly directs and inspires his teammates. Born in Dagestan, he is the eldest of four brothers, two of whom are also training in Manchester United youth.
