July 29th, Barcelona's new away jersey was released. The jersey launched by Nike paid tribute to the late basketball superstar Kobe, who has publicly expressed his admiration and love for Barcelona, his football style and players many times. The
jersey is mainly gold, supplemented by purple (officially known as Persian purple) and black, inspired by the classic color scheme in which Kobe once played for the team. The away jersey for the 2025/26 season will replace Nike's classic "Swoosh" logo with KobeSheath" pattern.
This jersey will be officially released on July 29, and Barcelona's first team will officially wear this jersey against Seoul FC on Thursday, July 31.
