New regulations of Ligue 1 and Ligue 1: Abolish the advantage of "away goals" and introduce new judgment standards

Hupu, August 8th, the French Professional Football League officially announced that it would cancel the relevant rules for the "away goal" advantage in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.

After the cancellation of the "away goal advantage" rule in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League and the Ligue 1/Ligue 1 upgrade play-offs, the French Professional Football League (LFP) also decided to further unify the standards and officially cancel the same team ranking criteria for the same points related to "away goal" in the Ligue 1 and Ligue 1.

The old rule cancelled:

Original 5th judgment criteria: When the two teams have the same points, "those who score more away goals will be preferred" → replaced by "those who play against each other in the season will have more goals".

Original 7th judgment criteria: If the first 6 standards are still indistinguishable, look at "those who score more away goals" again → replaced by "those who have fewer yellow cards".

New or rising ranking criteria:

New 5th Criteria: Total goal difference in mutual matches.

New 6th Criteria: Those with more winnings in the season are preferred (replaced with the original "mute goal score" standard, that is, special goal difference).

New 7th standard: Those with fewer yellow cards are preferred.

If the seven criteria still cannot distinguish between

In extreme cases, if the first seven judgment criteria still cannot distinguish between the two teams, the LFP will decide the final ranking through the "draw lots".
