Legendary goalkeeper announces retirement! Carson: It’s time to take off the gloves after an incredible journey

Carson wrote: "After an incredible journey between the goals, it's time to take off the gloves. Football has given me everything - those unforgettable memories, friendships and moments. Thank you to every teammate, coach, fan and club who have been a part of this journey. "
The 40-year-old Carson joined Leeds United's youth training in 2002, joined Liverpool in January 2005, and won the 2005 Champions League with the team. He later played on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Aston Villa and other teams.
Moved to West Brom in 2008, and then played for Bursaspor, Wigan Athletic and Derby County. In the summer of 2019, Carson joined Manchester City on loan from Derby County.
