June 14, According to the Post, Tottenham has sued Inex Automobile, a subsidiary of Sir Ratcliffe, because the company terminated a sponsorship agreement early.

In 2022, before Inex became a shareholder of Manchester United and held 27.7% of the club and controlled football operations, they signed a multi-million-pound, five-year agreement with Tottenham, making Inex Grandiel the "official four-wheel drive supplier" for Tottenham. During the agreement, Inex's brand logo was spread throughout the coaching seats and billboards at Tottenham Stadium.

However, the Daily Mail disclosed in March that the two sides decided to terminate the agreement early after "friendly negotiations", and Ineos will pay Spurs millions of pounds of liquidated damages. But business records show Tottenham filed a lawsuit on June 12, less than a month after they beat Manchester United in the UEFA Cup final and qualified for the Champions League.

Inelis, which has become Tottenham's "official hand sanitizer supplier" since 2020, issued a brief and powerful statement on the matter: "Since 2022, Inelis has been a partner of Tottenham, expanding its cooperation agreement with the club since 2020. We have a contract and have the right to terminate our cooperation agreement and exercised this right in December 2024."

Meanwhile, Inelis is also conducting extensive cost-cutting reviews, reducing its sports portfolio, ending its partnership with the Ben Ironsley Jazz Sailing Team and sponsorship agreement with the New Zealand All Blacks, and the New Zealand Rugby Association has also taken legal action against the company.
