Chelsea reportedly confident to beat Manchester United in a £30m deal to win top striker Drapp

According to the Sun, Chelsea believes they can compete with Manchester United for Liam Drapp this summer. The England striker has performed well in Ipswich this season, scoring 12 goals and 2 assists in 38 games in various competitions.

Drapp's £30 million termination clause comes into effect this summer after Suffolk club is relegated from the Premier League. The Red Devils are watching him closely as they want to update their offense.

Manchester United has performed poorly in the standings this season and is currently looking for offensive reinforcements. The new No. 9 is Amorim’s top priority before the new season, and Drapp is reportedly within his consideration. The Red Devils hope to bring in this summer the British and Wolves' Cunya. Previously, there was news that Drapp would rather join Manchester United than Chelsea.

However, his move to Old Trafford may depend on the results of the Europa League final, with the Red Devils facing Tottenham Hotspur next week. The winner will receive a seat in the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, the Blues are also looking for a new striker in the transfer market, and they have found Drapp. The London giant may even have an advantage in the competition, as Enzo Maresca worked with Drapp when he was growing up at Manchester City. Chelsea is currently ranked fifth in the Premier League standings and is likely to qualify for the Champions League. Will Chelsea and Manchester United compete for a Nigerian striker?

Chelsea and Manchester United may compete for Victor Osimne this summer, according to the 90 Minutes (BBC). The Blues had close ties with the Nigerian striker last year but ultimately failed to reach a deal.

Osimen was loaned to Galatasaray from Naples and has contributed 33 goals and 8 assists in 38 games so far. The 26-year-old is expected to leave Serie A permanently this summer, and the London giants have not ruled out the possibility of a transfer.

Chelsea is looking for upgraded Nicholas Jackson, and Osinfin meets the requirements. However, Manchester United is also associated with the Nigerian, which could pose a threat to the Blues' plans. The London giants also targeted Benjamin Sesco and Victor Gicheres.
