Bayern talks with Chelsea about Nkunku: Hope it is a loan, but the asking price is below 40 million pounds

Hupu, August 15, talkSPORT exclusive report, Bayern Munich has started negotiations with Chelsea on Christopher Nkunku.
Bayern prefers to choose a loan method with an option buyout clause, but given that Chelsea's asking price has now dropped, the possibility of a permanent transfer is not ruled out.
Bayern also tried to introduce forward Nick Waltermad this month, but has not yet reached an agreement with Stuttgart on the transfer fee.
talkSPORT learned that Nkunku's transfer fee asking price will be much lower than the £52 million Chelsea paid to Red Bull Leipzig in the summer of 2023.
Chelsea's asking price is slightly above £40m at the beginning of the transfer window, but now transfer fees below that number may be approved.
According to Transfermarkt, Nkunku's current market valuation is £30 million, while the 27-year-old was worth £70 million when he joined Stamford Bridge.
Nkunku has played 62 times for Chelsea and scored 18 goals, but has limited starting opportunities, and other players prefer No. 9, second striker or No. 10.
Chelsea still hopes to introduce Xavi Simmons of Leipzig Red Bull, which will further limit Nkunku's playing time, leaving before the transfer window is closed is considered a common choice for all parties.
Leipzig also discussed Nkunku, who is willing to return to the club. From 2019 to 2023, he made 172 appearances and scored 70 goals.
