The Suns were hit hard! Jaylen Green s right hamstring injury worsened: he may be sidelined for 4-6 weeks

On November 10, according to Suns reporter Rankin, the Suns were worried that Jaylen Green might miss multiple games. He aggravated his right hamstring strain in Sunday's victory over the Clippers.

At the end of the first quarter, after Green passed the ball to his teammates, he suddenly felt a sharp pain. He limped toward the team's bench clutching his hamstring, and was eventually helped off the field by two staff members. Shortly after, the team announced that he would not return for this game.

Green made his second appearance this summer after being acquired from Houston as part of the seven-team Durant trade. After missing the first eight games of the season with a hamstring strain, he scored 29 points in his debut on Friday.

"It's such a pity," teammate Dillon told reporters, "Injuries are always uncomfortable, but he will work hard to recover and will take this matter seriously."

Gambadoro, another Suns team reporter, said on social media that the Suns are expected to conduct medical imaging examinations of Green's hamstring after returning home. It is estimated that Green may be absent for 4 to 6 weeks.

For the Suns, this will be a major loss. After a disappointing performance last season, the team got off to a good start this season with 5 wins and 5 losses. However, new head coach Jordan Ott made it clear that his expectations will not change.

"This team will not make any excuses," Ott said, "We lace up our shoes and go out and fight." He also expressed sympathy for Green: "You really feel sorry for him, he has worked so hard to come back."

During Green's absence, Dunn and Grayson Allen may get more playing time.

The Suns also received a piece of positive injury news on Sunday: Dillon returned to the court after missing six games with a core muscle strain. He played 28 minutes and scored 16 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. A three-pointer at the end helped the team curb the Clippers' counterattack.
