The Lakers are chasing Wiggins again, and Mr. Pep is considering renewing the contract with Hachimura to put pressure on the Heat? Donghuang s crown still lacks puzzles

Although the Lakers have introduced Ayton, Smart, Laravia and other players during the offseason, the team's combat effectiveness seems to be far behind the Thunder and Nuggets. Lakers general manager Pelinka also hopes to continue to strengthen the lineup. Wiggins is one of the goals the Lakers have been chasing this summer. The peak Wiggins is both offensive and defensive, and his performance at the Heat last season is remarkable.

Lakers' team reporter Yowan Buha analyzed Pelinka's actions. Pelinka publicly stated on Media Day that the Lakers are considering extending Hachimura's contract. Hachimura is the Lakers' main bargaining chip in theory for Wiggins. If the Lakers renew their contract with Hachimura now, Hachimura will not be traded for at least six months.

"Hey, if you want Hachimura Hiroshi and want to get rid of Wiggins's extra year contract, or even think they're both of them equally strong players, or if you think Hachimura Hiroshi is better, trade him as soon as possible. Otherwise, we'll renew him next month and we can't trade it then," Buha said.

Wiggins played 17 games with the Heat last season, averaging 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, shooting percentage of 45.8%, three-point shooting percentage of 36.0%, and free throw shooting percentage of 73.1%.

Hachimura played 59 games with the Lakers last season, averaging 13.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.4 blocks, shooting percentage of 50.9%, three-point shooting percentage of 41.3%, and free throw shooting percentage of 77.0%. Obviously, Wiggins' offensive and defensive abilities are better than Hachimura. If the Lakers want to get Wiggins, they still need to make a first-round pick.

Previously, the outside world speculated that the Heat were unwilling to trade Wiggins to the Lakers because Heat CEO Riley still had resentment towards James. Riley, known as the "God's Corpse", often takes advantage of the deal, and renewing a contract with a player always reduces salary. He was unwilling to meet Wade's contract renewal requirements back then, so Wade went to the Bulls. He was unwilling to meet Butler's contract renewal conditions last summer and eventually traded Butler to the Warriors in the middle of last season.

If you want to get your favorite players through trades from Riley, any team will have to pay a considerable price. For the Lakers, Wiggins, who is both offensive and defensive, is indeed a good puzzle for the championship, especially Wiggins has experience in championships and hard battles in the playoffs.

If James and Doncic have Wiggins around, then the offensive and defensive pressure of the two giants can be reduced a lot. Wiggins can steadily provide seventeen or eighteen points in each game, and can also play the role of an arrowhead who locks the opponent's outside scorer.

The Lakers' lineup configuration is still not perfect enough. They are also interested in Jazz center Kessler, but unfortunately they are also difficult to succeed through the trade.
