Hupu November 03 According to the latest report from the famous Daily Telegraph reporter John Percy, after Vitor Pereira was fired, the Wolves have included Rob Edwards and former head coach Gary O'Neill on the candidate list.

Pereira is the fourth head coach to be sacked in the Premier League this season. With Wolves finishing bottom of the table after a poor start to the season, the club took decisive action.

Wolves' defeat at Fulham was their eighth defeat in ten league rounds, making them the first team in Premier League history to go two consecutive seasons without a win at the start of the season.

Middlesbrough head coach Edwards has a long-term relationship with Wolves. He was a former Wolves player and served as the Wolves youth training director.

O'Neal was fired in December despite a stellar first season coaching the Wolves. It may come as a surprise that he is currently considering a return to Wolves.

The Wolves are still drawing up a list of other potential candidates, which will be jointly handled by executive chairman Jeff Shi (Shi Yu), sporting director Domenico Teti and the club's director of professional development Matt Jackson.

Last season, the Portuguese coach led the Wolves to successfully avoid relegation with his amazing performance, and was nominated for the Coach of the Year.

However, the poor record at the end of the season indicates that the team is about to face difficulties, and this season is an even more disastrous moment. Pereira also admitted that the defeat at Fulham was his worst performance in charge.

Pereira's departure will not absolve Fosun Group (Wolves' Chinese owner) of further criticism, with many fans believing Shi Yu is the source of the problem.

This season, fans have continued to chant slogans against Shi Yu and Fosun Group, and asked them to sell the club.

Fosun Group acquired Wolves nine years ago and planned to make the club self-sufficient, but in the past three years they have sold many stars, resulting in a lack of strength and experience in the team's lineup.
