West Ham United signs goalkeeper Fabianski back, and he just three months after breaking up

Premier League team West Ham United (Weshan) announced on Thursday (11th) local time that it would re-sign Polish goalkeeper Fabianski, who was let go three months ago. The 40-year-old goalkeeper will spend his 8th season with West Ham United.

West Ham United announced in June this year that it would let go of goalkeeper Fabiansky, whose contract expired. Unexpectedly, three months later, West Ham United announced that they would sign the free agent again, with a contract of one year.

Fabiansky, who joined West Ham in 2018, said when signing with West Ham again: "I am very, very happy to come back. This team means a lot to me. I will always put the interests of West Ham United above my own interests."

West Ham United signed Danish international Hermanson this summer to serve as the No. 1 goalkeeper, and Areola chose to play in the Cup. Fabianski is expected to serve as the No. 3 goalkeeper.
