Recently, a sports event called "Enhanced Games" was announced to be held in Las Vegas, USA in May next year. The event openly condones athletes to use stimulants, emphasizing that "sports will be safer without stimulant tests", which caused a stir in the global sports community and caused strong condemnation from all walks of life. Although the Enhanced Sports Games use "scientific and technological achievements should be celebrated" as a gimmick, it actually transforms pure sports competitions into a deformed competition that competes in drugs, which is seriously contrary to the purpose of the World Anti-Doping Regulations. Its holding will seriously threaten the physical and mental health and sports spirit of athletes. In addition, the event exposed the essence of capital manipulation in publicity. The event organizers continue to attract athletes and capital to enter the market by throwing out high bonuses, economic sponsorship and other interest baits, inducing athletes to "bet" for commercial interests with health risks, and satisfy some outsiders' desire to watch "gladiator performances". All signs indicate that the emergence of the event is pushing the purity of sports into the abyss of crisis.

It is worth noting that since the release of the project, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has exposed its weakness in the face of strong interest groups and wealthy funders. Not only has it failed to take effective measures to oppose the parties' enhanced sports meetings in the United States, but instead, using the excuse of disappointment with the anti-doping system, it tries to overturn the effective world anti-doping order built by the anti-doping community and undermine the world anti-doping governance system aimed at fairly and consistently protecting clean athletes around the world. The China Anti-Doping Center hereby declares: it firmly opposes the beautification of doping as "technological progress", and calls on the global sports community to maintain a consistent position and firmly oppose the holding of the enhanced sports meeting. We strongly urge USADA to strictly abide by the World Anti-Doping Regulations and international standards, and take resolute measures to resist the event; stop exercising hegemony in the name of "promoting the reform of the anti-doping system"; stop provoking discord, adding fuel to the fire, and intensifying conflicts among all parties; stop threatening and pressure and abuse of "long-arm jurisdiction" through so-called "legal means", and promptly rectify related issues in its long-term anti-doping work to maintain the stability, consistency and development of the global anti-doping governance system.
