The sky-high weekly salary is difficult to break through, Sancho s request to become Manchester United is blocked, the biggest difficulty on the transfer

Jaden Sancho's transfer prospects are quite bleak, and although he is seeking to leave Old Trafford permanently, the obstacles have filled his future with uncertainty. The high salary requirements of the 25-year-old England winger have become the biggest stumbling block for him to leave Manchester United. Currently, his weekly salary is as high as £250,000, which has caused many potential suitors to retreat and become the biggest problem in the transfer market.

Sancho's career at Manchester United is coming to an end, but finding a suitable new owner is not easy. During his loan to Chelsea last year, he failed to impress the Blues. After the loan ended, Chelsea explicitly gave up the option of permanently buying him out and even paid a £5 million penalty for it, showing the complexity of the transaction. Recently, although news of interest in Sancho has been reported by Juventus, Naples and Fenerbahce of Turkey, well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that there has been no substantial progress at present and the problem still revolves around salary.

Romano pointed out without any concealment: "No club is willing to bear Sancho's full salary." He added that Chelsea gave up further negotiations precisely because they were unwilling to destroy the original salary structure. Although the Italian team showed some interest in Sancho, with Juventus having contacted him and Napoli asking about his condition two weeks ago, Fenerbahce's involvement seemed unrealistic.

It is worth noting that Sancho's condition has fluctuated in recent years, and there are only a handful of clubs that can match his maximum salary during his time at Manchester United. Obviously, he may have to significantly lower his salary expectations in order to achieve a transfer this summer. At the same time, his market valuation has also experienced a sharp shrinkage, currently only about £25 million, a far cry from a quarter of the transfer fee paid by Manchester United for it four years ago. The huge gap between salary and value makes Sancho's transfer path extremely tortuous and the prospects are difficult to be optimistic.
