May 19 TheAthletic reported that Real Madrid strongly hopes that Pintus will continue to stay in the club. The decision has informed Pintus that its final stay will mainly depend on the initial impression of Alonso and his team.

Alonso, who just finished his coaching career in Leverkusen, is expected to take office soon, replacing Ancelotti, who will take over the Brazilian national team from May 25. Alonso plans to bring some assistants from Germany during his working period, including physical coach Ismail Carmenford Lopez.

This has prompted the club to consider allowing Pintus to stay at the club in other positions and may hold cross-departmental positions under the current club's head of physical fitness preparation. Pintus played for Real Madrid for the first time in 2016-2019, and returned when Ancelotti entered the palace in 2021.

A Real Madrid source told TA: "Florentino firmly believes that Pentus is the secret to winning the Champions League."

Multiple sources pointed out that after experiencing controversy in training methods and internal friction caused by frequent injuries this season, Pentus hopes to gain attention and speak. The club's research believes that the injury issue is not his unilateral responsibility.

Juventus and other clubs are interested in Pintus. Goalkeeper coach Luis Lopez (who served during Zidane and returned at the invitation of Florentino in 2021) will remain in office. He and Xavi Alonso have known each other at Real Sociedad.

Ancelotti's coaching staff will leave collectively. His son, assistant coach David Ancelotti may coach solo after the June World Cup. Technical assistant Francesco Mauri may follow David Ancelotti, Ancelotti's son-in-law, technical fitness assistant Beniamino Fulco and technical analyst Simeone Montanaro will all work in Brazil.
