Stay true to stay in the team! Amorin supports Maguire, three Premier League offers were rejected, Manchester United is preparing to renew their contract

Harry Maguire's contract with Manchester United will expire at the end of the 2025-26 season, and head coach Ruben Amorin faces a major choice on the future of the central defender.

Despite the widespread attention of Harry Maguire, Manchester United coach Ruben Amorin is still preparing to keep him in the team. The centre-back's career at Old Trafford seemed to have come to an end not long ago, but he has returned to the club's plans through hard work.

During Eric Tenhach's coaching period, Maguire was a redundant player in the team, but even after receiving attention from Premier League clubs, he chose to stay in the team last summer. Tenhamhe was dismissed in October, and his successor Amorin found a place for the £80 million player, while Manchester United activated his contract extension in January.

Maguire, now 32 years old, once played for Leicester City. His contract with Manchester United will expire after the end of this season and will be free to negotiate transfers with overseas teams from January next year. However, if the player and the club can reach an agreement, he will not leave.

According to the Daily Mail, Maguire is eager to renew his contract with Manchester United and end his career at the club. The club also held the same attitude, although the relevant negotiations have not yet begun.

Amorin has included Maguire in a six-man leadership team, including Dio Goddalot, Lisandro Martinez, Tom Heaton, Nusel Mazravi and captain Bruno Fernandez. This makes it very unlikely that he will leave the team, even if five Premier League clubs are waiting for an opportunity.

Interest in Maguire is not only from England. The same Daily Mail report pointed out that two unnamed Italian clubs and three Premier League clubs have discussed the possibility of introducing him.

In addition, it is reported that clubs in Türkiye and France are also interested in him. However, five offers from England and Italy have been rejected, and there is no sign that Maguire will leave the team.

"We have a leadership team now," Manchester United coach Amorin said of the change. "It's not just Bruno, it's not just Harry, but six players. They're responsible for the entire team."

"Last year I had to deal with something myself, and this season I told them, these things are left to you. You're responsible for the small problems. These minor adjustments, I think, are very helpful to the team. Members include Bruno, Harry, Lichar (Martinez), Diogo, Tom and Nussel."

Manchester United is streamlining the lineup in other positions, Marcus Rashford joins Barcelona on loan, Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen leave the team freely. More players may leave the team, Jayden Sancho is on the roster for sale.

Although Amorin has spent more than £100 million to introduce new players, the sale of more players may free up funds for further signings. Mattus Cunia and Brian Mbemo have joined the team at a high price, and young Paraguay defender Diego Leon has also joined the team. And the offer for striker Benjamin Sesco may further increase the club's summer spending before the start of the new season.
