Rome plans to rent + buy out Echeviri, Manchester City holds the right to buy out

In the summer transfer window on August 6, Roma made frequent moves. After having won several new players, coach Gasperini still set his sights on the frontcourt attacker position. According to the newspaper Roma Sports, Manchester City 19-year-old Echeviri became his first choice. This Wednesday, Roma Sports Director Masala will go to England to start a new round of negotiations with Manchester City.

Previously, Manchester City planned to loan Echeviri to related club Girona, but Echeviri was unmoved. Out of his desire to fight side by side with his fellow Argentine Dybala and Sulei, he resolutely rejected Girona and fell in love with Rome. On social media, Echeviri liked and commented on Sule's goal, and Dybala also closed his social account. The three of them may have communicated in private, which also made Echeviri's willingness to join Rome stronger.

Manchester City attaches great importance to Echeviri's potential and has no intention of selling it directly, but is only willing to rent it to help it grow. But Rome was not satisfied with simply lending, and they proposed a plan to rent and choose buyout. It is reported that Roma has significantly increased the option buyout fee from 25 million euros to 33 million euros, while allowing Manchester City to retain an anti-buyout right of 40 million euros. In this way, if Echeviri shines in Rome, Manchester City can still recall it, and Rome can earn 7 million euros of training fees.

Roma's sincere offer has successfully impressed Manchester City, and Echeviri's transfer transaction dawn has begun to appear. Although Rome still has alternative options such as Fabio Silva and Nene in this position, Massaro still regards Echeviri as the best choice.

"Roman Sports" also pointed out that Roma's follow-up signing plan also covers midfield and central defender. In the midfield, Leipzig's Amadou-Hedala and Juventus's McKennie entered the field of vision; in the central defender position, Warsaw Legia's 20-year-old Polish star Thiorkovsky became the target candidate. Roma is working hard to create a strong new season lineup through a series of signings to cope with the challenges of all fronts in the new season.
