Pjanic: If it were me, I would sign Tonali for Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli are the favorites to compete for the championship

July 27th, Pjanic was interviewed by Milan Sports Daily and talked about Juventus and the new season of Grand Serie A.

How do you view the new Juventus headed by Comoli and Chiellini?

"Juventus has always been in my heart. I am very happy to see that there is Chiellini in the club. He is a person who can convey a sense of stability and belonging to all players and fans. Chiellini loves Juventus. He understands the history and locker room of the club, and he will be extremely precious."

The most important signing is Jonathan David. Is he the right person?

"David's data is very impressive. We are talking about a No. 9 player. He can always score many goals in the league. Although his tactics are not as good as Serie A, his physical fitness requirements are as high as those in Ligue 1. And in Lille, he has proved himself in the Champions League. He is very strong. Juventus needs a striker to score goals, and he also needs someone like him."

Tudor insists on Muani, and he returns to Paris after his loan period expires. Is Muani alone enough?

"If Tudor and the management want him back, it's because they understand his abilities. He is an international forward. A permanent transfer will be important to the club and Muani himself: when you are bought out, you will have a stronger sense of belonging."

Vlahovic's contract has expired 11 months to the day. Would you suggest him stay or transfer to Milan or Fenerbahce?

"Vlahovic is no longer young and has some experience: these are personal choices, of course these are not easy to deal with, but they are part of football. "The bet on Ilditz is right, a bit like when I was on the team, I decided to keep Dybala. Ilditz is important to the team and the club, he must be humble but also take responsibility. It can be seen that he works hard and can accomplish great things."

What are your expectations for the new season under Tudor?

"Tudore understands Juventus' world and performed positively in the final stage of last season: his team has clear style characteristics. Retrieving calm is necessary, staying in the Champions League is crucial and it must be realistic, but Juventus cannot be without a championship for many years. When you are there, you have to compete for victory, no excuses. And in the past few years, this has been missing."

"I will choose Tonali, and players like him are worth fighting for. He is Italian, with great potential, has won the championship in Milan, and has grown in England. Humble, strong and technically talented: this is exactly what Juventus needs."

Did Allegri coach Milan touch you?

"I often contact Allegri, we have had wonderful years at Juventus. He is a friend and it's great to see him in Milan. In Italy, he and Conte are the best, winners. Few people can handle the pressure like Allegri: Milan's goal is to get into the top four, but it's normal to expect more when a coach like Allegri is on the sidelines."

Allegri has no European game, but there is more Modric.

"Alegri is the person who is best at managing the team. Modric is the champion, he brings skills, experience and calmness in the game. He is the player Allegri has been looking for and love, and they will cooperate very well. Whether a strong pair is enough to compete for the championship will be waiting and seen." Is the team coached by Conte a more popular party in the league?

"Yes, Naples re-started after a brilliant season in which Conte created a miracle. Last season, with the lineup that Conte had, Inter should have won the Serie A championship.
