Official: Rennes defender Mika Faye joins Cremona on loan, including buyout option

Cremona Club announced that it will acquire player Mikail Faye on loan from Rennes Football Club, with the right of first refusal.
Faer was born on July 14, 2004 in Sediu, Senegal. After completing his youth training in his country, he transferred to Europe at the age of 18 to join Croatia's Crustosia. After his first adult season, he was spotted by Barcelona and joined Barcelona B. He then made 35 appearances with Barcelona B and scored 4 goals.
Then, he transferred to Rennes, making 12 appearances in the 2024-25 season of the Ligue 1 and French League Cup. In the international arena, Faye has made his debut for Senegal and scored in a friendly match with Gabon.
