According to Mike McGrath, a reporter from the English media Daily Telegraph, the reporter updated Manchester City's signing plan this summer.

It is reported that Manchester City is increasing their summer transfer spending by signing Reindez and Cherki, and as the Daily Telegraph exclusively reported in May, Manchester City has made moves to sign AC Milan midfielder Reindez to close the deal before this month's Club World Cup. They have now agreed to sign the 26-year-old Dutch international for £46.3 million.

Guardiola hopes to add two new midfielders to his team, and in addition to Reindez, the Blue Moon is also preparing to sign Cherki from Lyon. The personal terms of Cherki, 21, will be easily reached, and Manchester City will now discuss the transfer fee with Lyon.

Manchester City spent about £200 million to sign five new players in the winter window in January, and their transfer window could be more than £300 million this summer.

It is reported that Guardiola has added two full-backs ideally, but for new football director Viana, adding a right-back is not easy. All the top European clubs consider Ashraf the best player in the same position, but the Paris Saint-Germain full-back recently signed a new contract with the club and followed the team to win the Champions League this season.

Manchester City are interested in Liframento, but Newcastle United is determined to retain the England right-back, while Juventus' Cambiaso has not made any progress. Guardiola is pleased with Nunes's performance as a right-back at the end of the season and he may have the Portuguese international in the FFC World Cup in the United States.

At the left-back position, Wolves' Ait Nuri is their main target and they are confident of reaching a deal for the Algerian.
