European teams are better! Flamenco coach: The best example is Vinicius not playing in Brazil

June 29th, Flamengo coach Felipe Luis was asked about which European teams are better or South American teams. He said that the top European teams are still better.

Currently, European teams have won three games, South American teams have won two games and three more draws. Flamengo coach Felipe Luis said without hesitation that the best teams and players are in Europe, and took Vinicius as an example: "I still think the top European teams are better, they have the best players."

"The most obvious example is that Vinicius is not here, he does not play in flamenco. The best player in the world used to be in flamenco, but he is not here now." The Brazilian coach recalled Vinicius's experience in playing in flamenco.

Felipe Luis explains why South American players choose to leave their hometown: "They went to Europe to join the best team in the world, get a higher salary, a greater reputation, and compete at the highest level. It's that simple. We performed well in this competition and could even win the championship."
