Brazilian media: Former Brazil international and Beijing Guoan midfielder Augusto announced his retirement

Augusto, 37, is from Flamengo youth training and later plays for Leverkusen and Corinthian. In early 2016, Augusto transferred to Beijing Guoan for 8 million euros. After termination of the contract with Fruminense, Augusto became a free agent and eventually announced his retirement.
