Barcelona fans have finally waited for the opening of the Camp Nou stadium. On November 7, Barcelona held a public training session at Camp Nou. 23,000 fans bought tickets to witness the reopening of Camp Nou. Camp Nou, which has been closed for 894 days, will become Barcelona's home ground again this month.

On May 28, 2023, in the last round of La Liga in the 2022-23 season, Barcelona defeated Mallorca 3-0. This is the last time Barcelona will sit at Camp Nou. In the next 894 days, the Camp Nou stadium underwent renovation and expansion work. Barcelona is spending 1.5 billion euros to build a modern new stadium.

In the past two and a half years, Barcelona has moved its home court to the Montjuic Stadium. In La Liga in September this year, Barcelona played against Valencia at home. Due to a concert at the Montjuic Stadium, Barcelona could only arrange their home game at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, which can accommodate 6,000 spectators. This is a loss both in terms of audience experience and ticket revenue.

"World Sports News" pointed out that Barcelona's training on November 7 was a test of the Nou Camp. This public training was enthusiastically received by Barcelona fans, and 22,000 fans bought tickets to watch the game. Players and fans were also delighted to return to the Camp Nou after 894 days.

Barcelona vice-captain Araujo said: "I am so happy. The Camp Nou stadium is very good and the fans have never disappointed. This is an encouragement to us." For Barcelona, returning to the Nou Camp is not easy. The club originally planned to return at the end of 2024, but failed to do so; in September this year, Barcelona still failed to obtain approval.

According to Barcelona's vision, the team will return to the Nou Camp in November. If you are optimistic, Barcelona will return to Camp Nou for the La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on November 22; or on November 29, Barcelona will face Alaves at home. The timing of this La Liga match is even more meaningful: it coincides with the 126th anniversary of the founding of the Barcelona club. If permission is still not obtained, Barcelona will return to Camp Nou for a match with Atletico Madrid on December 2.

The Camp Nou stadium can accommodate 100,000 spectators, but according to the requirements of the local municipal department, the number of spectators in the newly opened Camp Nou stadium is controlled within 45,000. In 2027, the Camp Nou stadium will be officially completed, and the number of spectators will gradually increase to 105,000. By then, Europe's largest football stadium will usher in its highlight moment and become Barcelona's main battlefield.
