As you can see, this list is very inconsistent with the previous selections by ESPN and hoophype. One of the keys is the battle between Jokic and Alexander for the top spot. "Sports Illustrated" gave Jokic. In addition, among the three veterans, only James ranked 8th and was selected into the top 10. Neither Curry (11th) nor Durant (15th) entered the top 10, which also caused a lot of controversy.
