Boban, born on August 15, 1988 in Zayaka, Serbia, is 224cm tall and weighs 131kg. On July 11, 2015, Boban and the Spurs reached a signing agreement and officially logged into the NBA. He has played for the Spurs, Pistons, Clippers, 76ers, Mavericks and Rockets so far.
On March 8, 2025, Guangsha completed the registration for Boban Marianovic again. He played 5 games for Guangsha, averaging 11.2 minutes per game, scoring 4.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks, shooting percentage of 42.9% and free throw percentage of 75%.
