Perkins talks about Doncic: The league is going to be in trouble. He is the biggest hottest MVP in my mind

July 30th News Recently, Lakers star Doncic became the cover character of "Male Health" magazine. He successfully lost weight through training and diet during the offseason. In response, Perkins said Doncic is the hottest candidate for the current MVP in his heart.

"That means that Luca (Doncic) brought the disrespect that he encountered last season to the offseason," Perkins said. "The great Kevin Garnett always told me: don't watch it at the beginning of the new season (comments), don't watch it on TV when you play well, don't watch it when things go well, and watch it when things are not going well. When you see Luca set standards through offseason training and get better, the league will be in big trouble."

"I say two points, one is The Lakers are a truly strong contender. Second, Luca is the biggest MVP hottest I think at the beginning of the season.
