No championship, no MVP! Latest historical rankings: Paul 30, Little Card 32, Harden 34

US media BR recently launched the latest list of the top 100 superstars in NBA history, which has also caused great heated discussion and controversy. In addition to the battle for the first place in history between Jordan and James, there is also the battle for the top ten goalkeepers in history between Kobe and Curry. The rankings of three active superstars, Paul, Leonard and Harden, have also caused considerable controversy.

On this list, Paul ranks 30th, second only to James, Curry, Durant, Jokic and Antetokounmpo. Leonard and Harden both ranked behind Paul, but the gap was not big. Leonard ranked 32nd and Harden ranked 34th.

Judging from their career achievements so far, these three active superstars are undoubtedly very outstanding, but they each have some shortcomings and deficiencies. Therefore, their historical status is not only comparable to the three superstars of James, Durant and Curry, but also to the two latecomers Jokic and Antetokounmpo.

Paul has won many honors in his career, including 5 assists, 6 steals, 12 All-Stars, 11 Best Team, and 9 Best Defensive Team. But unfortunately, Paul has never won the MVP, nor the championship or FMVP, which is also the biggest deficit in his career.

Harden has also achieved many achievements in his career. He not only won the MVP, but also won the scoring champion three times, 2 assists champions, 11 times selected as the All-Star, 8 times selected as the Best Team, and was also elected as the Sixth Man. However, like Paul, Harden has never won the championship in his career so far. Moreover, they have been teammates with the Rockets and almost reached the finals together to win the championship, but unfortunately they still failed.

Although Leonard has never won the scoring champion or assist king in his career, he has also been selected as the All-Star 6 times, selected as the Best Defensive Team 7 times, and was also selected as the Best Defensive Player twice. The most important thing is that Leonard has won the championship twice and has two FMVPs, which is where he is stronger than Paul and Harden.

Overall, Leonard is the only one who has a championship among the three, and there are two FMVPs; Harden is the only one who has an MVP among the three, but Leonard and Paul also performed at the MVP level, but they all missed it. Although Paul has neither MVP nor FMVP, his cumulative honors in his career are higher than those of Harden and Leonard.

So the historical status of Harden, Leonard and Paul is indeed not much different, but which one is higher or lower is a matter of opinion. If the championship is the highest standard, Leonard should have the highest status in history. With MVP as the highest standard, Harden should be the highest. If career comprehensive achievements are used as the highest standard, Paul's historical status is still slightly higher.
