Levly s right foot surgery! Thick eyebrows and retina are detached! The three main players of the Mavericks are injured

The Mavericks have three main players recovering from injuries: Kyrie Irving (knee), Thick Eyebrow (eyes) and Lefly (right foot).

In mid-January this year, Levley suffered a stress fracture of his right ankle. He did not undergo surgery at the time, but only had conservative treatment. From January 16 to April 1, Levley made a two and a half months back before returning. In the first two seasons of his career, Lefly only played 91 games in total, with an attendance rate of only 56.2%, which is also a bit glassy.

Lefly was born on February 12, 2004, with a height of 2.16 meters and a wingspan of 2.31 meters. In the 2023 NBA Draft, Lefly was selected with the 12th pick in the first round. In his rookie season, he averaged 23.5 minutes per game, scoring 8.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.4 blocks, shooting percentage of 74.7% and free throw percentage of 50.6%.

Lefly's performance in the rookie season was quite amazing, following the Mavericks all the way to the finals. In the 2024-25 season, Lefly, a sophomore, made little progress: he averaged 23.1 minutes per game, scored 8.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.1 turnover, with a shooting percentage of 70.2%, and a free throw percentage of 63%.

In February this year, due to major differences in the injury to Levley, a conflict broke out between the Mavericks' medical team and the physical fitness team. In the end, the Mavericks fired four staff members, including the director of the physical fitness team. The Mavericks' medical team is hard to describe. Last season, there were as many as 7 injured people, and only 8 were left to participate.
